Master Wood Investments is a Ugandan registered company whose directors have been in the timber industry for more than thirty years as producers, processors and manufacturers of timber.
It’s run by a competent, experienced and well motivated team of skilled manpower and professional managers.
The company’s success is a result of a combination of the directors’ accumulated knowledge on the various characteristics of individual species of timber and a well motivated skilled manpower.

Machinery & Equipment

The company employs modern state of the art machines imported from Italy, Germany and China, namely; Radial cross cutting machines, surface planers, thicknessers, mortisers, spindle moulders, industrial belt sanders, computerized thicknessing sander, orbital sander, band saws, industrial spraying machines, hydraulic door press machines and the center machine (the only one in Uganda) and an assorted range of hand tools.

Timber Handling & Treatment

Master Wood Investments Limited commits itself to provision of high quality products. Relying on the accumulated experience, only quality timber is purchased. The timber is initially stabilized by open air seasoning with spacers in between boards but later put in our ultra-modern Copcal Timber Drying Kilns imported from Italy. A digital Hammer Moisture Meter is always at hand to ensure that only timber that has reached the optimum moisture level is used.
Using properly dried timber is key to production of high quality timber products that will not warp or open up and this can only be attained by using computerized timber driers.

Whereas all kinds of timber products can be produced, we mainly specialize in house fittings, i.e. Door Frames, Door Shutters and Kitchen Units, Floor Parquets, Floor Strips and Ceiling T and G.

As a market leader in the industry, Master Wood Investments continues to produce high quality products with various designs of doors, door frames, wardrobe and kitchen unit shutters of standardized height and width. This ensures that the customer pays for the item only after he/she is satisfied with quality and also is convenient for the customer when the need for replacement arises in the future
